With USB and iLink (firewire models only) hub built into the Deck and located right on the front panel, you will have access in connecting other digital devices such as your iPod, optical drive or even a digital camera quickly and conveniently without having to go under your desk to locate it.

If your digital life consists thousands of creative digital snapshots, video clips and music masterpieces, then the DECKTANK is the perfect external storage solution that you can rely on to fulfill you with the needs for massive storage space to store all of your digital archives. The DECKTANK comes in 2 drive bay system with each hard drive bay capable of supporting up to 1TB in capacity.

Arctic and Quiet. Due to its form factor and physical dimension, the DECK Series holds plenty of internal room to allow adequate airflow to allow the enclosed drives to operate comfortably. It's also fronted with a venting panel and is quipped with 2 rear heat extracting fans that are practically silent in leaving you with a peace of mind while you work.

It's simpler with just a cord. Because the power supply is internally built, so all you need is a standard power cord that's commonly used among PC's. With external"brick type" of power supplies, if lost, it's unlikely to be replaced by other brands. With the standard power cord, if lost, they can easily be purchased and obtained anywhere without having to worry about voltag

 

 

JBOD. Just Bunch Of Disks. The DeckTANK Series focuses on the applications of JBOD. Although not equipped with data redundancy, the JBOD function, however, provides the flexibility of data exchangeability with not RAID limitations. With our removable hard drive design, you can simply remove a drive and have it be used on another PC with ease.

Hard drives instead of CDs for archiving. Maybe you are fed up with burning data to a CD to backup your data. Large files mean multiple CD burning at one CD at a time speed. It’s time consuming and inefficient. With the DeckTANK Series, you’ll have ample space for storage for gigabytes and gigabytes of data instead of megabytes. Once a drive is full, simply remove the hard drive with ease, archive it then replace with a new drive. It’s a thousand times morefficient.

Great for video editing. With many videos now requiring high resolution formats, this would mean high speed storage in order to meet the requirements of video editing. Through the DeckTANK’s Firewire 800 model (reaching 100MB/sec. speed), you can set it up to run at RAID 0 where you would be storing divided pieces of data into two drives simultaneously instead of one to increase the over all read/write performance.

Digital video surveillance applications. As the markets of video surveillance climbs, the needs for backup to store longer periods of captured videos are greatly needed. The DECKTANK provides a horizontal form factor to be easily stacked onto a surveillance DVR system and provides 2TB of storage for captured videos.
