Install and remove drives with ease. Available with removable hard drive trays, installing or removing a drive would be absolutely hassle-free with the SOHOTANK. Each drive tray is equipped with a locking mechanism to securely lock the drive into place and avoid accidental removals in keeping your data safe.

Coolly designed. With its rugged yet sleek exterior and finish, the SOHOTANK is compact in size for any desktop environment, never taking up too much space. Structured with an aluminum body, the SOHOTANK is capable of dissipating heat faster, keeping drives enclosed within to be comfortably operated.

It's simpler with just a cord. Because the power supply is internally built, so all you need is a standard power cord that's commonly used among PC's.With external"brick type"of power supplies, if lost, it's unlikely to be replaced by other brands. With the standard power cord, if lost, they can easily be purchased and obtained anywhere without having to worry about volta.

 

JBOD. Just Bunch Of Disks. The SOHOTANK Series focuses on the applications of JBOD. Although not equipped with data redundancy, the JBOD function, however, provides the flexibility of data exchangeability with not RAID limitations. With our removable hard drive design, you can simply remove a drive and have it be used on another PC with ease.

Help you to manage your digital libraries. With the digital snapshots or videos taken, the MP3s or MPEGs that you have downloaded, you can easily manage them by dividing them up to be saved in different hard drives. With the SOHOTANK systems available from 2 and 4 drive bays, having each drive store different types of files would efficiently help you in organizing your libraries for music, videos, photos, etc.

Through the SOHOTANK’s firewire 800 model, you can set it up to run at RAID 0 where you would be storing divided pieces of data into two drives simultaneously instead of one to increase the over all read/write performance.
