With D800I storage solution, it is fast enough to let you work with multi-stream uncompressed HD while having your data protected under RAID 5.

So How Fast is it?

Under RAID 0 (unprotected mode), it can achieve 577MB/s Read, 500MB/s Write, that means you can edit 3 streams of uncompressed 1080P 10bit video.

Under RAID 5 (protected mode), it can achieve 504MB/s Read, 406MB/s Write, that mean you can edit 2 streams of uncompressed 1080P 10bit video or play 3 streams of uncompressed 1080P 10bit video.

Flexible Configuration for Advanced Users

With the configurable RAID controller, you can configure your drive exactly according to your requirements. For example, you can set up one drive as spare drive so that if any of the drive fails, it will kick in and start rebuilding the RAID immediately. You can also set up so that if a failure occurs, a notice will be sent to you via email.
